Anti-Slavery Statement

This Statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and it sets out the proclamation and steps that BRENDRATTI INC has been taking with its integrity,  responsibility toward people, the environment and the way any and all of its products ar made in Italy.

Human Rights & Modern Slavery Statement

At Brendratti Inc., craftsmanship, integrity, and respect for human dignity are fundamental to the way we conduct business. As a luxury fashion brand, we recognize that our responsibility extends beyond the products we create to the people involved throughout our operations and supply chain.

We are committed to respecting internationally recognized human rights and conducting our business in accordance with applicable laws, ethical business practices, and responsible sourcing principles. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, and any form of exploitation.

Our Commitment

Brendratti is committed to conducting business in a manner that promotes fairness, dignity, and respect for every individual involved in the creation of our products.

We seek to align our business practices with internationally recognized human rights principles, including the:

  • United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
  • International Labour Organization (ILO) Core Conventions
  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights
  • OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (where applicable)

Zero Tolerance for Modern Slavery

Brendratti maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward:

  • Forced or compulsory labor
  • Bonded, indentured, or prison labor where prohibited by law
  • Human trafficking
  • Child labor in violation of applicable laws
  • Debt bondage or exploitation
  • Physical, verbal, or psychological abuse of workers
  • Discrimination, harassment, or intimidation in the workplace
  • Any practice that restricts a worker's freedom of movement or lawful employment

Workers should always be free to leave their employment after providing reasonable notice as required by applicable law.

Ethical Employment Practices

We expect all employees, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and business partners working with Brendratti to:

  • Operate in full compliance with applicable labor, employment, and workplace safety laws.
  • Provide safe, healthy, and respectful working conditions.
  • Pay wages and benefits that meet or exceed legal minimum requirements.
  • Comply with applicable laws regarding working hours, overtime, and rest periods.
  • Prohibit all forms of forced, bonded, involuntary, or trafficked labor.
  • Prohibit the employment of children below the legal minimum working age.
  • Respect lawful freedom of association and collective bargaining rights where recognized by applicable law.
  • Maintain workplaces free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Implement ethical recruitment practices that do not require workers to pay recruitment fees or surrender passports or personal identity documents.

Responsible Sourcing

Brendratti partners with manufacturers and suppliers that share our commitment to ethical production and responsible business practices.

Our manufacturing partners, including those located in Italy, are expected to comply with all applicable Italian, European Union, and local labor, employment, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

When selecting and maintaining supplier relationships, we consider factors including:

  • Legal compliance
  • Labor practices
  • Workplace health and safety
  • Ethical business conduct
  • Product quality
  • Operational integrity
  • Commitment to continuous improvement

Where appropriate, we may request information or documentation to support compliance with our supplier expectations.

Supplier Expectations

All suppliers and manufacturing partners are expected to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employment and payroll records.
  • Cooperate with reasonable compliance inquiries.
  • Promptly notify Brendratti of any significant labor, ethical, or legal violations that may affect our business relationship.
  • Address identified concerns within a reasonable timeframe.

Failure to meet these expectations may result in corrective action or termination of the business relationship, where appropriate.

Governance and Accountability

Responsibility for implementing this commitment rests with Brendratti's management.

We continually review our sourcing practices and supplier relationships as our business grows and our supply chain evolves. We recognize that responsible sourcing is an ongoing process requiring continuous assessment and improvement.

Reporting Concerns

Brendratti encourages employees, suppliers, contractors, and other business partners to report concerns regarding suspected human rights violations, unethical conduct, forced labor, modern slavery, or other labor-related issues.

Reports may be submitted confidentially through our designated contact channels. We will review reports in good faith and, where appropriate, investigate concerns in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith is not tolerated.
